Realization with Repetition: Understanding the System of Life Through Logic and Analysis

A few weeks ago, during the I-CAN Retreat in Czechia as part of the Krescon Movement, the people who attended felt an uncommon and refreshing experience. That is what I hoped for because Alena and I wanted them to experience a fresh outlook on the system of life.

What are we doing here in this world? We’re making all possible efforts to live a good life. However, we are plagued by the troubles of it, the hurdles, the tragedies, and so on. Some of us look for quick fixes while the rest make peace with their fate.

The people who attended the retreat believed in one or two among a few concepts of life. These concepts would lead them on a certain path which I would call Tracks. Therefore, I introduce you to the R with R or the Realization with Repetition technique.

The three tracks used as quick fixes

People typically follow three tracks:

  • Track #1: Having complete faith in one’s divine deities and surrendering to the course of life.
  • Track #2: Adopting and practicing calming techniques, including meditation, wellness rituals, etc.
  • Track #3: Practicing visualization and affirmations.

Beyond these, there is Track #4 that I feel is prevalent in all of us, but fear, lack of self-belief, and other negative aspects keep us from following it faithfully. Track #4 allows us to treat the other three tracks as secondary and, in turn, compels us to assess the situations of our lives from a logical, neutral, and practical perspective.

What is Track #4 all about?

Track #4 shows us that we can believe in ourselves as long as we possess the knowledge of awareness. What happens is when we are afraid of facing the worst possible outcome and when we repeatedly go through the same level of suffering, we start to seek answers. Why is this happening to me? What is causing it? Why did it have to be this way? What should I do? Oh, I can’t take this stress, I need to meditate! No, I need to believe and have faith in God that everything will be all right, so now I don’t have to do anything. All I should do is practice positive affirmations and visualizations.

None of the above tracks are meaningless. They all have value and they are effective. However, there is Track #4 that helps us to know what we must do in times of difficulty. We must understand what to do when we are faced with complex situations and where emotions can only cloud the mind.

This is where the R with R track offers a way through the conundrums of life. The first ‘R’ stands for Realization while the second ‘R’ stands for Repetition. Realization is where you become aware of your strengths, instincts, who you are, and who are certainly not!

Repetition is where the implementation comes into the picture. The process of repetition is your habit channel, implementing the right thought process, logic, and analysis. There are specific tools and techniques you can use practically and make it as a deep habit channel like a repetition that you don’t need to keep reminding yourself of.

Realization without Repetition is meaningless and true the other way around as well. If you become self-aware but are not taking action on that stance of realization then no good comes out of it. You are still wherever you are supposedly stuck. If you do not realize that you are making certain practices a habit channel like prayers, meditation, breathing exercises, etc., all you are doing is getting into the wrong habit of a quick fix.

Therefore, allow yourself to emerge as the one who can realize awareness and repeat the right practices to evolve as a person.
